‘Hard Work Café’ offers safe, fun after-hours place for CCHS students

When classes dismiss at Carroll County High School, many students remain at school for several more hours to participate in sports and other extracurricular activities.
Whether its play practice, band rehearsal or a basketball game, students sometimes spend a lot of time waiting for their evening activities to begin or waiting for their parents to pick them up.
In a newly renovated space adjoining the cafeteria, stage and gymnasium, students will have a safe and comfortable place to wait. Principal John Leeper calls it the Hard Work Café.
