Alberta (Mullikin) Harmon, 77, of Fort Mitchell, Ky., died Thursday, July 31, 2008 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood.

Born June 5, 1931 in Carrollton, she was the daughter of Bert and Ira Crim Mullikin.

She was of the Baptist faith and was a devoted mother. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and traveling.

Survivors include one daughter, Socorro Harmon, Fort Mitchell; two sons, Alfred (Lana) Harmon, Nippa, Ky. and Louis Hardin (Penny) Harmon, Bedford; a grandson, Joshua Louis Harmon and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Quentin Mayberry Harmon who passed away March 25, 2006; one grandson, Quentin Gabriel Harmon; and several half-brothers and half-sisters.

Services were August 4, 2008 at Ransdell Funeral Home, Bedford, with Reverend Jerry Ball officiating. Interment followed at Carrollton I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton.

Ransdell Funeral Home, Bedford, was in charge of arrangements.
