I would like to take this opportunity to inform your readers about some true American spirit that is alive and well in our area. In these uncertain and stressful economic times, I found it very encouraging that people did not hesitate to help our fund raising effort. When I told them the proceeds went to the Legacy Fund, a scholarship fund dedicated to helping the families of our fallen soldiers, they did their best to help with the Post No. 41 A.L.R.
