Panthers fall 6-1 to Conner
Carroll scored first, but gave up four runs in the top of the fourth en route to a 6-1 loss to Conner Friday at home.
In the bottom of the first, Dillon Craig reached on an error, and Zakk Hicks brought him home on a double to center field. The Panthers had the bases loaded in both the second and third innings, but did not score, a key to the game, head coach Jimmy Ray said.
Ray said he thinks the team was mentally tired and dealing with some lingering injuries. They were not mentally prepared to play, he said.
