Carrollton Federal Bank sponsored Hoop Shooters basketball camp and Little Rookies basketball tournament during spring break.
The event was held at the Kathryn Winn Primary School. There were 25 children who attended the camp and four teams that participated in the tourney.
The event would not have been possible without the support from Gerda Wise, principal at Kathryn Winn, and Mike Battaglia, with Carroll County Parks and Recreation. We extend our gratitude for their participation in this event. Below is a list of people who volunteered their time for the camp and or the tournament: Jimmy McEndre, Haley Damron, Jay Damron, Cody Damron, Patrick Booth, Isiah Hogan, Hannah McMahan, Hannah McEndre, Brad McEndre, Michaela Roberts and Chuck Roberts.
We would like to extend our gratitude to these dedicated people, the children who attended the events and the coaches and parents who made this event possible. It was an honor for us to represent Relay For Life in this fun event. Proceeds collected from the event will be donated to Relay For Life to continue the research efforts to prevent and cure cancer.
In addition to the proceeds raised for Relay For Life, a dog food drive for the Carroll County Animal Support was held during the basketball camp. Thanks to all who contributed food to this community organization.
Thanks to all Carrollton Federal Bank staff members who contributed their time and efforts to these successful events.
