Editor:
My Little Sister is 8 years old and I am 56. That’s not a big deal to either of us, because we belong to the Big Brothers Big Sisters program. Being a BBBS volunteer is a rewarding way that I can invest in my community and in the life of one child.
There are currently about 30 Big Brothers Big Sisters in our Carroll County program; and more are greatly wanted and needed. Volunteers can be as young as 18; however, many of us are more experienced. There is no education level required, and volunteers can be from all walks of life.
