Representatives from the Lexington, firm RossTarrant Architects, gave the members of the Carroll County Board of Education the latest update on design developments for renovations to the Richard B. Cartmell Elementary School during its July 23 meeting.
Renovations at the school are needed due to overcrowding issues. The 46-year-old facility houses students in Head Start and grades four and five, while Kathryn Winn Primary, houses children in kindergarten through third grade.
