Boys golf team takes 7-0 record to regional contest

Trimble County boys golf looked great as they headed into this week’s regional tournament.

With a record of 7-0 for the season, the future looked promising when the team met on the green at Kenton County’s The Willows golf course Sept. 29.

Ranked one of the hardest courses in the state, Raider players discovered why The Willows back 9 is said to be among the top 3 toughest in the state.

Despite not claiming a region victory, the boys golf team, like other Raider athletic clubs, did not go down without a fight Monday.
