Brenda Wood joins United Citizens staff

Brenda Wood has joined the United Citizens Bank & Trust Co. staff in Carrollton. 

Wood was previously with US Bank in Louisville, but had her banking start in Carrollton.  She has been in banking for five years and has climbed the ladder. She began as a teller, became a teller supervisor, moved on to lending, and in her last banking position had become assistant manager.

Wood’s specialty is working with people.  She wants to sit down with a customer in the branch or out of the branch, discuss their needs and match the products to those needs to make banking simpler for her customers.

Wood had been away from Carrollton for almost a year, but wasn’t gone long before she realized how much she missed the friendliness of this community. 

“I enjoyed my work experience in Louisville and learned from my time there, but I knew I wanted to get back to Carrollton pretty quickly and am excited by what United Citizens Bank & Trust Co is allowing me to do,” she said.

Wood will be in the Carrollton branch on a daily basis, but hopes to be out in the community regularly. She welcomes customers to stop in and say hello or give her a call at (502) 732-6669.
