Browning honored for outstanding basketball skills with induction

Carroll County basketball legend Pam Browning became just the second women’s basketball player to be inducted into the University of Kentucky’s Athletics Hall of Fame. Her brother, Mark, and sister, Mary Jean, accepted the award on her behalf at the induction ceremony Friday night and were recognized on the field at Commonwealth Stadium during halftime of UK’s home football game Saturday. The only other women’s basketball player inducted was Valerie Still (1980-1983).
