Jill Butcher of Carroll County was recently elected to be secretary of the Kappa Delta Sorority at Eastern Kentucky University.
Butcher is the daughter of Karen Brooks and Dooley Butcher.
She is a 2011 graduated of Carroll County High School. and is a a sophomore at EKU majoring in nursing.
