CAMPBELLSBURG, Ky. – Callie Mae Woods, 75, of Campbellsburg died Sunday, Sept. 7, 2008, at her home.
She was a homemaker and was a member of Providence Baptist Church, Campbellsburg.
Survivors include her husband, Emmett Woods of Campbellsburg; a son, Robert L. (Barbara) Woods of Eminence; two daughters, Vickie Jean (Mike) Arnold of Campbellsburg and Donna (Tracy) Creech of Bedford; three brothers, Lawrence Peyton and Robert Peyton, both of Shelbyville, and Larry Gene Peyton of Oklahoma; three sisters, Lillian Jaggers of Cropper, Naomi Holcomb of Eminence and Juanita Raisor of New Castle; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents,John and Pearl Peyton.
Services were Sept. 10, at Sholar Funeral Home in Pleasureville, Ky., with the Rev. Doug Boyd officiating. Special music was provided by David Leslie Young. Burial was in Pleasureville Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Jamie Arnold, Chris Creech, Josh Creech, Damon Woods, Denny Woods and Shane Woods.
Honorary bearers were Vernon Abney, Jennifer Arnold, Kelley Arnold, Greg Fisher, Randy Ford and Fred Nelson.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Providence Baptist Church Building Fund, 51 Louden Lane, Campbellsburg, KY 40011.
