Camp Shakespeare set for public library

-A A +A

Carroll County Public Library invites area youngsters to come learn about Willy Shakespeare, while they enjoy real theater training — and funny accents. Share the spotlight with fellow actors and perform for friends and family.

Camp Shakespeare fosters an appreciation of the words and works of William Shakespeare by providing opportunities to explore the theater arts through imaginative play, visual arts, movement, storytelling, design, text analysis, and more.

The event is geared to students in middle and high school. The camp will be held from 1-4 p.m., Monday through Friday, July 21-25, with a performance on the last day at 3 p.m.
