Campground built to bring in visitors

Some Carrollton City Councilmembers are concerned about the public’s perception of the Two Rivers Campground.

At Monday night’s meeting. Councilman Larry Morgan said he has talked to several city residents who are concerned about the campground and whether or not it is currently making money or will in the future.

“This is a long-term project,” Mayor Gene McMurry said. He said people cannot expect a
business to be profitable within its first few months of opening. “We have to give this kind of place a chance to succeed.”
