Carrollton Rotary Club meets every Wednesday at noon at General Butler State Resort Park.

AA Big Book study group meets every Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Carrollton Christian Church, 310 Fifth St.

Carroll County Chamber of Commerce holds its Carroll County’s Got Talent auditions at 5:30 p.m. at the Carroll County Library.

Thursday, April 29

Carrollton Utilities will flush the fire hydrants on the Carrollton water system. Flushing will begin at 8 a.m. with completion scheduled for 5 p.m. Flushing of the hydrants is done each year at this time to remove all sediment in the mains and to make sure all hydrants are working properly. Carrollton Utilities suggests that laundry should not be washed while crews are flushing the hydrants as some staining of clothes could occur.

Narcotics Anonymous meets at 6:30 p.m. every Thursday at Carrollton Christian Church, 310 Fifth St.

Alcoholics Anonymous meets 8 p.m. every Thursday at Carrollton Christian Church.

Community Advisory Panel meets at noon in the Burley Room at Butler Park lodge.

The Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Post 41 meets at 5:30 p.m. at the Legion hall, 123 Fifth St., Carrollton. Anyone wishing to join may pick up a membership application at the hall.

The National Association of Letter Carriers Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive. Gather non-perishable food items in a bag and place it by the mailbox. Letter carriers will pick it up and deliver it to the local food pantry.
