Carrollton Rotary Club meets every Wednesday at noon at Butler Park lodge.

AA Big Book study group meets every Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Carrollton Christian Church, 310 Fifth St.

Thursday, April 1

Commonwealth Canine Search and Recovery, a volunteer organization, holds its search dog certifications, April 1-4, at General Butler State Park in Carrollton. The group has 35 members who will be testing a minimum of a dozen search dogs that specialize in both live and cadaver work and have been used by the FBI, Center for Missing and Exploited Children, Kentucky State Police, Kentucky Emergency Management, Louisville Metro and numerous Sheriff’s Offices. Narcotics Anonymous meets at 6:30 p.m. every Thursday at Carrollton Christian Church, 310 Fifth St.

Saturday, April 3

Bake sale for Relay for Life will be held at Kroger, 9:30 a.m.

Carrollton Main Street Program sponsors Easter on the Square from 1-4 p.m. on the Courthouse Square. Visits with the Easter Bunny begin at 1 p.m. and continue until 3 p.m. During that time, there will be games and inflatables for the kids, face painting, music and more. The annual community egg hunt begins at 3 p.m. Drawing for the merchant’s gift basket will be held between 3:30 and 3:45 p.m.

Monday, April 5 

Monday, April 5 through Wednesday, April 7: Hoop Shooters Basketball Camp will be held from 9:30 a.m. until noon each day at Kathryn Winn Elementary today through April 7 in the gym during spring break. Boys and girls age 6-12 are encouraged to attend. Cost is $30 and plus three cans of pet food, with sibling discounts available. Community Advisory Panel meets at noon in the Burley Room at Butler Park lodge.

The Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Post 41 meets at 5:30 p.m. at the Legion hall, 123 Fifth St., Carrollton. Anyone wishing to join may pick up a membership application at the hall.
