Friday, Aug. 26

Carrollton/Carroll County Tourism board meets at noon at the Tourism office, 515 Highland Ave.

The American Legion Riders of Post 41 meet at the Legion Hall, 123 Fifth St., Carrollton. Members of the Legion, Sons of the American Legion or the Ladies Auxiliary who own motorcycles of 350cc or larger are welcome. Call (502) 732-4941 for more information.

General Butler State Resort Park’s Butler-Turpin House hosts Play ‘Er Agin Concert Series featuring Cutthroat Shamrocks, who hail from the foothills of Tennessee. The concert is held on the of Butler-Turpin lawn. Bring your own chair or use one of theirs. Concert begins 7 p.m. Free.
