Carroll County Memorial Hospital holds a Downtown Business Health Fair from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Carroll County Public Library. There will be free basic checks, including blood pressure. Blood screenings for PSA will be offered for $25, while cholesterol check tests are $20. Flu shots are available for $25. Other healthy living information is available.

Carrollton Rotary Club meets at noon at the General Butler State Resort Park lodge.

AA Big Book study groups meets every Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Carrollton Christian Church, 310 Fifth St.

Cartmell Elementary School Site Based Decision Making Council meets at 3:30 p.m. an the school.

Champions for a Drug-Free Carroll County meets at 11:30 a.m. in the community room, Carroll County Public Library.

Lions Club meets at noon at Butler Park lodge.

Carroll County Board of Education meets at 5 p.m. at Carroll County Middle School.

King’s Daughter’s Health will host its annual Run the Falls 5K event at Clifty Falls State Park with registration at 7 a.m., the event starts at 8 a.m. The walk/run is open to walkers and runners of all ages and medals will be presented to the top finishers in each age group.
