Final Judgments

Charles W. Partin, 57, pleaded guilty on count one to manufacturing methamphetamine, first offense, a class B felony, and was sentenced to 12 years imprisonment and fined $1,000; on count two he pleaded guilty to first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, second or subsequent offense, a class C felony, and was sentenced to 10 years imprisonment and fined $1,000, a public advocacy fee of $600 and pay court costs, with said sentences to run concurrent to each other for effectively one-12 year sentence, a fine of $1,000, public advocacy fee of $600 and court costs, the Sheriff of Carroll County will deliver the defendant to the custody of the Department of Corrections at such location within this Commonwealth as the department designates, any cash/property bond posted may be released at this time.

Christina M. Leake, 23, pleaded guilty on count one to first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first offense, a class D felony and was sentenced to three years imprisonment and fined $1,000; on count two she pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia, first offense, a class A misdemeanor and was sentenced to 12 months imprisonment and fined $500, with said sentences to run concurrent to each other for effectively one-three year sentence, a fine of $1,000 and court costs, with sentence to run consecutive to any sentence received by the defendant in the Kenton Circuit Court, case No. 13CR00007, the defendant will remain incarcerated until April 21, for bond violation, the defendant was placed on probation under the supervision of the Division of Probation and Parole of the State of Kentucky for a period of three years effective April 8 and is subject to their conditions, any cash/property bond posted may be released at this time.

Kelsie L. Gilley, 20, pleaded guilty on count one to first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first offense, a class D felony and was sentenced to three years imprisonment and fined $1,000; on count two she pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia, first offense, a class A misdemeanor and was sentenced to 12 months imprisonment and fined $500; on count three she pleaded guilty to failure of owner to maintain required insurance, first offense, and was sentenced to 90 days imprisonment and fined $500; on count four she pleaded guilty to operating a motor vehicle while license was suspended, a class B misdemeanor and was sentenced to 90 days imprisonment and fined $250, with said sentences to run concurrent to each other for effectively one-three year sentence, a fine of $1,000 and court costs, the defendant was placed on probation under the supervision of the Division of Probation and Parole of the State of Kentucky for a period of three years effective April 8, and is subject to their conditions, any cash/property bond posted may be released at this time.

Gene A. Smith, 48, pleaded guilty to possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, a class D felony and was sentenced to five years imprisonment and fined $1,000; on count two he pleaded guilty to disregarding a stop sign, and was fined $20; on count three he pleaded guilty to operating a motor vehicle while license was revoked or suspended for driving under the influence, first offense, and was sentenced to 12 months imprisonment and fined $500 and revocation of license for one year; on count four he pleaded guilty to operating a motor vehicle under the influence, second offense within a five year period, he was sentenced to six months imprisonment and fined $500, revocation of license for one year and DUI service fee; on count five he pleaded guilty to possession of an open alcohol beverage container in a motor vehicle and was sentenced to a fine of $100, with said sentences to run concurrent to each other for effectively one-five year sentence, a fine of $1,000, revocation of driver’s license for one year, DUI service fee and court costs, the defendant was placed on probation under the supervision of the Division of Probation and Parole of the State of Kentucky for a period of five years effective April 8, and is subject to their conditions, he is to serve 120 days imprisonment, any cash/property bond posted may be released at this time.

Rachel L. Taylor, 33, pleaded guilty on count one to first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first offense, a class D felony and was sentenced to three years imprisonment and fined $1,000; on count two she pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia, first offense, a class A misdemeanor and was sentenced to 12 months imprisonment and fined $500, with said sentences to run concurrent to each other for effectively one-three year sentence, a fine of $1,000 and court costs, said sentence to run consecutive to the sentence received by the defendant in the Boone Circuit Court, case No. 08CR00466, the defendant was placed on probation under the supervision of the Division of Probation and Parole of the State of Kentucky for a period of three years effective April 8, and is subject to their conditions, she is to serve 90 days imprisonment, any cash/property bond posted may be released at this time.
