Final Judgments

James W. Moore, 22, pleaded guilty on count one to first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first offense, a class D felony and was sentenced to three years imprisonment and fined $1,000; on count two he pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia, first offense, a class A misdemeanor, and was sentenced to 12 months imprisonment and fined $500; on count three he pleaded guilty to public intoxication, a class B misdemeanor and was sentenced to 90 days imprisonment and fined $250, with said sentences to run concurrent to each other for effectively one three year sentence, a fine of $1,000 and court costs, the court hereby suspends the fine, said sentence is to run consecutive to any backup sentence, the defendant was placed on probation under the supervision of the Division of Probation and Parole of the State of Kentucky for three years effective Sept. 24, 2012, and is subject to their conditions, the defendant will remain incarcerated until a bed date for residential substance treatment is available, any cash/property bond posted may be released at this time.

Patrick D. Mefford, 36, pleaded guilty on counts one and two to first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense,  class D felonies and was sentenced to five years imprisonment on each count and fined $1,000 on each count, with said sentences to run concurrent to each other for effectively one five year sentence, a fine of $1,000 and court costs, the defendant was placed on probation under the supervision of the Division of Probation and Parole of the State of Kentucky for five years effective Sept. 24, 2012, and is subject to their conditions, the defendant will serve 180 days incarceration, any cash/property bond posted may be released at this time.

Kandi L. Mefford, 36, pleaded guilty on count one to first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first offense, a class D felony and was sentenced to three years imprisonment and fined $1,000; on count two she pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia, first offense, a class A misdemeanor, and was sentenced to 12 months imprisonment and fined $500; on count three she pleaded guilty to theft by unlawful taking with a value under $500, a class A misdemeanor and was sentenced to 12 months imprisonment and fined $500; on count four she pleaded guilty to prescription drugs not in proper container, first offense, a class B misdemeanor, and was sentenced to 90 days imprisonment and was fined $250, with said sentences to run concurrent to each other for effectively one three year sentence, a fine of $1,000 and court costs, the defendant was placed on probation under the supervision of the Division of Probation and Parole of the State of Kentucky for three years effective Sept. 24, 2012, and is subject to their conditions, any cash/property bond posted may be released at this time.

Ryan David Lewis, 23, pleaded guilty on counts one and two to first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense,  class D felonies and was sentenced to five years imprisonment on each count and fined $1,000 on each count, with said sentences to run concurrent to each other for effectively one five year sentence, a fine of $1,000 and court costs, the defendant was placed on probation under the supervision of the Division of Probation and Parole of the State of Kentucky for five years effective Sept. 24, 2012, and is subject to their conditions, the defendant will serve 180 days incarceration, any cash/property bond posted may be released at this time.
