SENTENCING

Cody A. Thomas, 24, pleaded guilty to five counts of possession or viewing of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor, each a class D felony and was sentenced to five years imprisonment on each count and fined $1,000 on each count; he also pleaded guilty to four counts of distribution of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor, each a class D felony and was sentenced to five years imprisonment on each count and fined $1,000 on each count, with said sentences to run concurrent to each other for effectively one five year sentence, a fine of $1,000 and court costs, the defendant was placed on probation under the supervision of the Division of Probation and Parole of the state of Kentucky for a period of five years effective Aug. 4, 2014, and is subject to their conditions, any cash/property bond posted may be released at this time.

Jesse D. Rogers, 19, pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia, first offense, a class A misdemeanor, and was sentenced to 12 months and fined $500; on count three he pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana, a class B misdemeanor, and was sentenced to 45 days and fined $250, with said sentences to run concurrent to each other, the defendant’s sentence of 12 months and fine of $500 was conditionally discharged for a period of two years and is subject to the same terms and conditions of his pretrial diversion, the defendant will pay a public advocacy fee in the amount of $600 and court costs.

Shawn D. Renaker, 29, pleaded guilty to second-degree assault, a class C felony and was sentenced to 10 years imprisonment and fined $1,000, the defendant was placed on probation under the supervision of the Division of Probation and Parole of the state of Kentucky for a period of five years effective Aug. 4, 2014, and is subject to their conditions, he is to serve 180 days incarceration, any cash/property bond posted may be released at this time.

Jared T. Payne, 22, pleaded guilty to first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense, a class D felony and was sentenced to five years imprisonment and fined $1,000 and court costs, the court suspended the fine and public advocacy fee, the defendant was placed on probation under the supervision of the Division of Probation and Parole of the state of Kentucky for a period of five years effective Aug. 4, 2014, and is subject to their conditions, he is to serve 180 days incarceration, any cash/property bond posted may be released at this time.

Brittany Mazza, 21, pleaded guilty to theft by unlawful taking, with a value of $500 or more, a class D felony and was sentenced to three and a half years and fined $1,000, public advocacy fee in the amount of $600 and court costs, the court suspended the fine, the defendant will pay restitution in the amount of $1,380 jointly and severally with the co-defendant, the Sheriff of Carroll County will deliver the defendant to the custody of the Department of Corrections at such a location within this Commonwealth as the department designates, any cash/property bond posted may be released at this time.

Carmack, 35, pleaded guilty to Carroll Circuit Court case No.14CR00142 to flagrant non-support, a class D felony and was sentenced to five years imprisonment and fined $1,000; on case No. 14CR00032 Owen Circuit Court, he pleaded guilty on count one to manufacturing methamphetamine, first offense, a class B felony and was sentenced to 10 years imprisonment and fined $1,000; on count two he pleaded guilty to first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first offense, a class D felony and was sentenced to three years imprisonment and fined $1,000; on Grant Circuit Court, case No. 14-CR00202, the defendant pleaded guilty on count one to theft of identity, a class D felony and was sentenced to five years imprisonment and fined $1,000; on count two he pleaded guilty to failure to use a seat belt, and was fined $25, with said sentences to run concurrent to each other for effectively one 10 year sentence, a fine of $1,000 and court costs, the court suspends all fines, costs and public advocacy fee in the Carroll and Grant Circuit Court, and suspends the fine in the Owen Circuit Court, he is to pay a public advocacy fee in the amount of $600 and pay court costs in the Owen Circuit Court, said sentence to run consecutive to any backup sentence, with regard to the Carroll Circuit Court, the defendant’s child support arrearage as of July 1, 2014, is $28,087.89 for the time period of July 27, 2007 through July 1, 2014, the Sheriff of Owen County will deliver the defendant to the custody of the Department of Corrections at such a location within this Commonwealth as the department designates, any cash/property bond posted may be released at this time.

Jessica N. Hawkins, 27, pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia, first offense, a class A misdemeanor and was sentenced to 12 months imprisonment and fined $500; on count three she pleaded guilty to failure to notify address change to the Department of Transportation, and was fined $20, with said sentences to run concurrent to each other, the defendant’s sentence of 12 months and fine of $500 was conditionally discharged for a period of two years subject to the same terms and conditions of her pretrial diversion, the defendant will pay a public advocacy fee in the amount of $600 and court costs.

Tony M. Gray, 37, pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia, first offense, a class A misdemeanor and was sentenced to 12 months imprisonment and fined $500, the defendant’s sentence of 12 months and fine of $500 was conditionally discharged for a period of two years subject to the same terms and conditions of his pretrial diversion, the court suspends the public advocacy fee, he will pay court costs, payments made by Tony Gray/Lena Gray will first be applied toward court costs owed by Tony Gray, after court costs are paid in full, then payments will be applied to court costs owed by Lena Gray.

Lena Nicole Gaddis Gray, 31, pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia, first offense, a class A misdemeanor and was sentenced to 12 months imprisonment and fined $500, the defendant’s sentence of 12 months and fine of $500 was conditionally discharged for a period of two years subject to the same terms and conditions of her pretrial diversion, the court suspends the public advocacy fee, she will pay court costs, payments made by Tony Gray/Lena Gray will first be applied toward court costs owed by Tony Gray, after court costs are paid in full, then payments will be applied to court costs owed by Lena Gray.

Jerry L. Doll Jr., 51, pleaded guilty to receiving stolen property with a value over $500 but less than $10,000, a class D felony and was sentenced to three years imprisonment and fined $1,000, a public advocacy fee of $600 and pay court costs, the defendant will pay restitution in the amount of $790, jointly and severally with co-defendant, plus poundage fee through the Carroll Circuit Court, the Sheriff of Carroll County will deliver the defendant to the custody of the Department of Corrections at such a location within this Commonwealth as the department designates, any cash/property bond posted may be released at this time.
