Carroll County voters participating in next Tuesday’s election will be using a new voting method for the first time, according to Carroll County Clerk Alice Marsh.
“We will be using paper ballots,” Marsh said. “The voting process will be much easier and less confusing. Our older voters especially should be more comfortable with it.”
Carroll County will be using a new voting machine, called the Hart InterCivic eScan, which scans—or photocopies—the paper ballot into a computer where it is digitally recorded and tallied.
