The Lady Panthers (5-14) fought hard, but came up short at home against Williamstown (3-10) Saturday, 36-30. “Our kids really, really played hard that day, but we weren’t quite as sharp as I’d have thought we’d be,” head coach Randy Mefford said. He said both teams are comparable and have had their share of struggles this season, but he was hoping they would have come out on top.
