Carroll woman killed in Trimble crash

A Carroll County woman has died from injuries suffered in a crash on Friday, Oct. 26. Preliminary investigation shows that the car, driven by Norma Puckett, 76, of Carrollton, was traveling east on Hwy. 42 when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree. Puckett, who was wearing a seat belt, was first transported to Carroll County Memorial Hospital and later to the University of Louisville Hospital. Puckett died of her injuries at 7:03 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 27.
