Apartment complex approved
Carrollton city council accepted the recommendation from the Planning and Zoning Commission to approve a planned development at 1200 Gillock Avenue. The development is an apartment complex to be built by Paul Kemper. The plans call for two two-story apartment buildings, each with eight apartments. Two townhouses also will be built, one on each end of the apartments. The recommendation was unanimously approved. Kemper, who was present for the meeting, said construction may begin in June or July.
