City retains ISO rating of Class 4

The city of Carrollton was notified recently that it has retained it’s rating of Class 4 following a recent Public Protection Classification Survey conducted by personnel from ISO.

Fire Engineer Greg Beck told City Council Monday night that the city’s fire suppression system, which includes the fire department, dispatch and Carrollton Utilities, earned 64.82 of a total 100 credits. Beck said that total was down by two credits from the last ISO survey.
