Carrollton loses ‘gem’ as store closes

I was sad to see the article about the closing of Floyd’s Jewelry. 

I am only a part-time resident of Carrollton and live most of the time in Cincinnati. 

I have lots of jewelry stores in Cincinnati to choose from, but I usually wait to go to Floyd’s because they had been so nice and had such pretty things. 

I even wait to get my watch batteries repaired because they were half the price of the jeweler’s here. 

I had lost an earring and they were able to find a manufacturer that had one to match.
