Cartmell Time Capsule

Cartmell Principal Doug Oak ceremoniously placed the time capsule into the stone-carved holder. Items from 1961 and 2011 were put inside, with hopes that it will be re-opened in 50 years.

Students released balloons with information about Cartmell tied to the ends in hopes that someone will find one and respond.

Students took turns looking down inside the container where the time capsule would be placed.

Stone carvers Albert and Penny Nelson replace the sundial and prepare to seal up the time capsule. The school thanked them for all of their work creating the time capsule.
