CCAS seeks volunteers to help local animals

Carroll County Animal Support is a support group of volunteers who want to see animals have a good life free of neglect and cruelty.

We are in need of community support. If you can help in any way please contact us by phone (502) 732-6040 or through our Facebook page. Better yet, attend our meetings on the third Thursday of each month at the downtown courthouse at 6:30 p.m.

We need foster homes for sheltering animals waiting to be adopted. Volunteers are needed to help with fundraising. On June 2 we will have a yard sale in the parking lot on Hwy. 227 where the Blossom Shop was formerly located. If you have any items to donate just bring them by that morning. Also we are in desperate need of food for the animals so if you come to the yard sale bring a food donation if possible.

If you are interested in fostering or adopting stop by our “meet and greet” held the third weekend each month at Butler Mall.
