CCAS thanks supporters for help with chili supper

-A A +A

There are many folks who help in so many ways with the Carroll County Animal Support group’s annual chili supper fundraiser. But I would like to take this opportunity to thank the special ones who helped us with promoting the event.

We are grateful to Debbie Garrett and Jeff Moore at The News-Democrat for the large ad that I am sure helped build the crowd. The ad was made possible by very generous local businesses that I am certain are called on over and over again. Earl Floyd Ford and Kinman Chevrolet came through for us once again.  Back in October, Mr. Floyd and Mr. Kinman were kind enough to make a contribution to the organization for each vehicle they sold that month. Craig’s Do It Center, in addition to sponsoring the ad, provided tables for our supper. First National Bank, another sponsor, was a strong contender in our food drive held last year. Monk and Marsh, Attorneys at Law, and Insurance Associates, Inc. also were sponsors of the ad, and we appreciate their contribution.

If you missed the supper, you missed a great meal, great music and great company!  Watch for the ad next year, so you, too, can be there.
