CCHS hosts youth basketball camps

Boys camp June 4-7 from 9 a.m.-12 p.m.

Carroll County Panthers basketball camp will be held June 4-7 at Carroll County High School from 9 a.m.-noon. The camp is for boys entering grades 1-8. Registration is $35 for pre-registration and $40 the first day of camp.

Fundamentals of the game of basketball both individually and in a team setting will be emphasized. The players will participate in teaching stations, lectures, competitions and games. Each participant will receive a camp T-shirt and certificate. Registration brochures have been sent home with students and are available at all of the Carroll County Schools. The camp director is Carroll Yager, Carroll County High School boys basketball coach. Girls camp June 4-7 from 12:30-3:30 p.m.

Lady Panthers basketball camp will be held June 4-7 from 12:30-3:30 p.m. at Cartmell Elementary gym. All girls entering grades second-eighth graders are welcome to attend.

The cost is $35, and family discounts are available. Each student will receive a t-shirt and basketball. Brochures are available at Carroll County High School or students may sign-up on the first day of camp from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Camper information and payment may be mailed to CCHS at 1706 Highland Avenue.
