MADISON, Ind.—Charles Edward Louden, 79, died May 14, 2012, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Ky.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, May 24 at 7 p.m. at Carrollton Christian Church, 310 Fifth Street in Carrollton with the Rev. Melvin Lecompte officiating. Visitation will be from 5:30 p.m. until time of service at the church. Graham-Dunn Funeral Home of Carrollton is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Mr. Louden was born July 5, 1932, in Henry County, Ky. to the late Marvin and Smitha Rice Louden. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the American Legion. He was a truck driver by occupation.
Survivors include his son, Marvin Edward Louden of N. Vernon, Ind.; daughters, Diana Tunney of Birmingham, Ala. and Melissa Gay of Ind.; a sister, Mabel Lee Stewart and two grandchildren.
His parents; wife, Helen Louise Louden; and sister Dorothy Fitzgerald preceded him in death.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Louden’s name to the Carrollton Christian Church, envelopes are available at the funeral home.
