Program celebrates Our Savior’s Nativity

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 501 Main St., Carrollton, will celebrate Our Savior’s Nativity from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1.

Everyone is welcome to come and experience Bethlehem and see what it might have looked like the night of the Savior’s birth. Numerous nativity scenes also will be on display.

Anyone who would like to display a nativity set may call Sharon Graves at (502) 523-0663.

Cookies and hot chocolate will be served.

Advent program set for Methodist church

 The 15th annual Advent Musical Program will be presented at 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, at Carrollton United Methodist Church. A reception will be held in the Fellowship Hall immediately after the program. 

Singers and musicians from five counties will be sharing their talents.

Hymn sing planned at Bedford church Dec. 6

Trimble County Hymn Sing will be held at 7 p.m.  Thursday, Dec. 6, at Bedford Springs Church, 43 Shepherd Lane, Bedford, Ky. The public is invited to attend.
