Fall soup supper set at Relevant Church

The annual fall soup supper will be held from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Friday, Oct. 18, at the Relevant Church, 2505 Highland Ave. in Carrollton. Soups, sandwiches, chips, desserts and drinks will be served. Pastor Rusty Bennett welcomes everyone. Donations accepted.


Carrollton church celebrates 90th year

Carrollton Wesleyan Church, 216 Third St. in Carrollton, is celebrating its 90th year at a special service during its revival on Sunday, Oct. 20, starting at 10:30 a.m.

District Superintendent the Rev. Dr. Marlin Hotle will serve as the evangelist and speaker. All former pastors and district superintendents have been invited. There will be an afternoon concert at 2 p.m. with Jay and Amber Wisner and Hotle. All are welcome.

Bible study to begin Oct. 19 in Bedford

Bible study will be at the Bedford Gathering Place at 6 p.m., beginning Saturday Oct. 19, and continue every Saturday for at least one month. The topic will be “Where will I go when I die.” Call Dave Colbert for more details at (502) 381-1579.
