Methodist church plans trunk-or-treat event

Carrollton United Methodist Church, 310 Highland Avenue, will host a trunk-or-treat event on Monday, Oct. 31, in the parking lot on Fourth Street behind the church.  There will be candy and bouncies for the kids, and hot chocolate, cider and coffee for the adults.   Join us from 6-8 p.m. for an evening of fun and safe Halloween activities. Kids should be accompanied by adults.

Fall Harvest Festival set for Prestonville

Cayr Dinner is having a Fall Harvest Festival at Westside Fire Department in Prestonville from 5-8 p.m., Friday, Oct. 28th, with food, fun, games, and it’s free. The event is sponsored by Calvary Full Gospel Church members.

Church plans soup supper for Oct. 29

Hopewell Community Church on Locust Road is hosting a soup supper on Oct. 29 at 5 p.m. The event is free, and everyone is invited. There also will be games and candy for the children.
