Church hosts ‘Landmarks,’ a look at church history

Apostolic Pentecostal Church of the Living God, 124 Smith Lane in Bedford, will host the film “Landmarks On The Road Home” – a chronicle of Christian church history from the Roman Empire to contemporary times that explores the rise of the Pentecostal movement. 

The film begins at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20, at the church.

Southern Gospel quartet to perform in Carrollton

The Commonwealth Quartet of Lebanon, Tenn., will perform at 6 p.m., Oct. 5, at Carrollton Christian Church, 310 Fifth St. 

This is the southern gospel group’s fifth annual visit to Carrollton and the public is invited to enjoy the music. 

A love offering will be collected to help with expenses. 

The quartet also will perform during the 10:45 a.m. worship service on Sunday, Sept. 22.
