Soil is an important natural resource to our world. All life depends on the soil. Because we have soil, farmers can grow crops, people can hike through national forests, horseback riders can ride horses in fields and cattle can graze in pastures. Without soil there would be no plant life such as tall trees, beautiful flowers or fresh green grass. Soil is important to me because without it there would be no plants, no oxygen, and no animals. Soil is important to other people who have occupations such as farming, gardening, building, landscaping and many other things.
