The city of Carrollton continues to make progress on the riverfront project. The city closed on three properties Monday afternoon that it had purchased on Main Street along the Ohio River.
Mayor Dwight Louden said the city purchased Bill and Kathy Arvin’s property at 207 Main Street for $42,500; three lots from Bill Frederic around 217 Main Street for $35,000; and two riverfront lots from John Glauber for $28,000.
In a special meeting Monday, council also authorized the mayor to purchase additional property in Carrollton for the project.
