The Trimble Banner
Work to remove rocks and debris from five Trimble County creeks is under way, and the total cost could reach as much as $900,000.
The work is being supervised by the federal Department of Natural Resources and Conservation Services, which is helping to fund the bulk of the cost of damage to creeks after torrential rains drenched the county Aug. 4. NRCS is a division of the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
