Carroll County schools made gains on the 2009-10 Kentucky Core Content Test results announced last week but failed to meet No Child Left Behind criteria.
Both Carroll County Middle School and Carroll County High School scored above the state average in all but one category, science at CCMS and on-demand writing at CCHS.
“It was an extremely a large movement for both schools,” Carroll County Schools Superintendent Lisa James said. “We’re really excited about what’s going on in the district.”
