Efforts to repair several Carroll County creeks damaged by torrential rains on Aug. 4 have been stalled, Carroll County Judge-Executive Harold “Shorty” Tomlinson reported during the Oct. 13 meeting of Carroll County Fiscal Court.
County workers have been cleaning out creeks to prevent erosion problems and flooding.
Because of the setback, the court agreed to pursue outside help to assist the county’s maintenance crew with completion of the work.
