We asked readers on Facebook to send us photos of themselves and their fathers, and tell us why their dads the best. Thank you to all who responded!
What I love most about my dad is that he has always been there. He has been there when we needed a helping hand, needed advice or just a good laugh. Our whole family can agree that we wouldn’t know what to do without him. He always puts his family first and we can’t thank him enough for that. We love you very much. Happy Father’s Day!

Not only do I have the best dad in the world, but also in this picture is my wonderful grandpa.
You tickled my feet,
And laughed at all my jokes.
You taught me to believe,
In having high hopes.
You are my father,
You did what you had to do.
But more than a father,
You are my friend too.
You made everything good,
That was once bad.
I just want you to know,
I love you Dad.

I can not pick just one thing I love about my dad. He has been a great father the past 31 years. He has taught us many important lessons in life. He has held many positions in his life.. His latest as deacon and soon to be poppa. His smiles, hugs, advice, stories and humor will always have a spot in my heart. Thanks Dad for just being the best Dad a girl could ask for!

Lulu Tharp to their dad and papaw, Glenn “Doodle” Perkins
Nathan has been the best daddy in the world to little Grace Annabelle. She can’t quite express in words how amazing he is, but the smiles and giggles tell it all. Her favorite games to play with her Daddy are “Wheres the baby?” and “Toes for Snacks” (So much that she tries putting her toes in Mommy’s mouth also). Grace wants to tell her Daddy Happy Fathers Day and that she loves him so much!
Grace and Crystal Davis to Grace’s daddy,
I love my daddy. He’s my super hero. I love my dad and he is special because he always loves to take me places and he always loves to play with us! My dad is not a bad guy at all. He is good and that is also why he is special! I will always love him and always think he is special!! Happy Father’s Day, Dad!
Gavin, Aydan and Jordan Hunt to their dad,
The guy in the photo with me isn’t my father, he’s my daddy. Daddies aren’t about blood, but about love. He doesn’t have any children of his own, but he has me. He says that is all he needs. Thank you Matt for changing my life and giving me a daddy I can look up to. Love K.D.
Kathryne Stevens to her daddy, Matt Holman
Carroll County, Ky.
My dad is my hero, not just because he was a police officer for 30 years, but because he is a fantastic role model and leader. He is one of my best friends. He taught me everything I know about sports, and I know that I can always go to him for advice. He has always been there to take care of me, spoil me and maybe be a tad bit overprotective (but I know it was just because he loves me so much!). I love you more than I can say, Daddy, and I will always be your little girl.
Kristin Beck to her dad, Gene Sherrard

Peyton Cole to his dad, Derek Cole
My dad has been in our lives for 11 years now and has been one of the greatest blessings our family has had. I really look up to my dad. He’s 66 years old and works hard every day. He’s been a great role model for my son and myself as well. He’s always there to listen and always has the best advice. We are very lucky to have him. We love him with all our hearts.
Tiffini Spencer to her step dad, Ernie Sams Jr.
He has always been a wonderful father and grandpa. We know we don’t get to spend as much time with you as we want, but it’s not because we don’t want to. Just wanted everyone to know how proud we are to have such a great father and role model.
