Jefferson Community and Technical College-Carrollton Campus held its third annual “Teambuilding and Geocaching” event on Friday, Oct. 11, at General Butler State Resort Park.

English instructor Regan Wann led 16 students in various leadership and teambuilding activities.

Later in the day, student participated in a high tech treasure hunt, called geocaching.

Using GPS technology, students searched for hidden containers, ranging from small plastic boxes to metal ammo cans around General Butler State Resort Park.

The hunt required students to work in teams to find as many caches as possible in the hour-and-a half time limit.

Videos and pictures of the Teambuilding and geocaching vvent can be found on JCTC-Carrollton Campus’ Facebook page.

A special thanks to Andy Anderson, Regan Wann, Butler Resort, Barnes and Noble Bookstore, Sara Clifton, Caroline Reisner, Tom Buchanan and Lisa Stethen for making this a great event.
