Family suffers the loss of two pets to traffic

My 7-year-old daughter and 5-year-old son lost two cats due to people running over them within a three month frame.

My daughter was in the driveway when the second cat got hit. She said it crawled to hide under one of our vehicles. She went over to it and moved Pumpkin, her family pet, to it’s bed on the porch.

She watched it suffer and die within minutes. My kids were sad and crying for the second time.
