FFA competes in regionals

Four members of the Carroll County FFA Chapter competed in a welding competition sanctioned by the Northern Kentucky Region of FFA, held in the Carroll County High School agriculture mechanics lab. The members competing included Billy Mertz II, Jordan Gibson, Ronnie Knight and Travis Spenneberg.

The competition was won by the Spencer County FFA Chapter, but the contest was not given to them. They beat Carroll County only by 0.32 of 1 point. Spencer County scored 231.34 to Carroll County’s 231.02.
