Carroll County Fiscal Court gave its endorsement to the state transportation cabinet’s plan for the county’s $666,588 rural secondary road plan for 2014-15.
During Tuesday’s fiscal court meeting, Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 6 Chief District Engineer Rob Hans presented the plan that includes maintenance of the 48.3 miles of secondary roads in the county, along with several resurfacing projects around the county.
Hans told the court that maintenance of roads is averaging $5,651 per mile for a total of $267,000.
