Football falls 48-14 on the road

From the first offensive snap of the game, things were not going right for the Carroll County Panthers.

It was homecoming night at Walton-Verona, and the Bearcats were ready to put on a show for their local fans. They did just that, defeating the Panthers 48-14 and handing them their first loss of the season.

On that first offensive snap, Bearcats’ quarterback Nolan Daugherty handed the ball off to his running back Nolan Brown, who took off down the right sideline for a 60-yard touchdown run. The extra-point kick gave the Bearcats a 7-0 lead.
