Frank A. Zink, 80, of Louisville, Ky., died Saturday, July 26, 2008, at his home.
He was a graduate of St. Xavier High School in 1946 and served in Germany, during the Korean War. He was the founder of Business Office Supply Company, which opened in 1966.
Survivors include his wife, Lucille, whom he married Nov. 27, 1952; seven children, Stephen, Joeseph (Wang Jing), Barbara Cohen (Jerry), Tricia Zink Lush (Dudley), Daniel (Kitty), Mary, Thomas (Annie); eight grandchildren; two sisters, Millie Renish and Angela Zink; and a brother, Robert Zink.
His son, John, preceded him in death.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today, Wednesday, July 30, 2008, at Holy Spirit, 3345 Lexington Rd., Louisville.
Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. in Calvary Cemetery. A celebration of life at the Old Zink Homestead will immediately follow the service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Louisville Home of the Innocents.
Ratterman’s Funeral Home in Louisville is in charge of arrangements.
