Friends of Butler has been granted its 501(c)(3) status by the Internal Revenue Service.
“We were pleased to have received the news that our application had been approved on the first pass,” said Melissa Tharp, Friends treasurer.
Friends of Butler fosters and furthers the Butler heritage through supporting programs, restoration, collections, public awareness and promoting the Butler-Turpin State Historic House and General Butler State Resort Park.
