Ghent hosts July 12 farm field day; 4-H camp orientation set

There will be a Farm Field Day Tuesday, July 12, at the Bob Luckhardt Farm on Pardue Road in Ghent.

Signs will be at Sharon Road and Hwy. 47 and at Pardue and Sharon roads. I think the road sign may say Purdue Road.

The day will begin at 6 p.m. and end with a twilight meal. Topics will be seeding techniques, restoring high traffic areas, warm season grasses, winter limit feeding of livestock, watering system options and dead animal composting.
